For over 155 years, the Café de Paris has been an unmissable venue on the Place du Casino, with its brasserie and casino attracting artists and celebrities throughout its existence.
The Café de Paris was built in 1868 opposite the Hôtel de Paris and next to the Casino, and is one of the legendary institutions of Monte-Carlo, founded by François Blanc and Prince Charles III. The establishment, owned by the Société des Bains de Mer, is the oldest in the Principality, and was originally called “Café Divan” before it was renamed.
