Built in 1864 to entice visitors from around the world to visit the brand-new district of Monte-Carlo, the Hotel de Paris is one of the world’s best known and most luxurious hotels.

Founder François Blanc had one idea in mind when he was developing the concept for this pinnacle of luxury: to create “a hotel that would surpass all that had gone before”. Looking out onto the Mediterranean, the hotel has been meeting the highest international standards for more than 150 years.
An extensive renovation programme has recently enhanced the building while preserving its timeless spirit: the dimensions have been harmonised, new spaces have been designed, exclusive suites have been created, new fine dining options have been introduced…

A mainstay of the Hotel de Paris and a true Monegasque institution, the Louis XV – Alain Ducasse restaurant is located on the ground floor, with direct access from Place du Casino. Since 2022, Em Sherif offers a menu dedicated to the flavours of Lebanon, which guests can savour in the hotel gardens looking out onto the sea.

At the very top of the hotel, Michelin-starred Le Grill is suspended between earth and sky. In the basements, the Hotel de Paris Wine Cellar, one of the largest private cellars in the world, is home to the best vintages on the planet.

The Bar Américain, with its outdoor terrace opening out to the sea and to Place du Casino, is a storied venue that has a relaxed, jazzy atmosphere and an avant-garde feel. The indoor courtyard, unveiled in December 2018, provides a brand-new intimist, tree-filled space offering a number of exclusive brands.

The Hotel de Paris Monte-Carlo has 207 rooms and suites in total. The Princess Grace Suite, officially opened by Prince Albert II and Princess Stéphanie in 2017, pays tribute to the woman whose generosity and elegance left their mark on the history of the Principality and the Hotel de Paris, by featuring some of the Princess’s personal memorabilia and a few of her favourite works.

This exceptional suite covers 983 m² over two floors, complemented by stylishly designed outdoor spaces offering a 180° sea view. Its clean curves showcase the contemporary look, the light and the fine materials.

Located on the hotel roof, the Prince Rainier III Suite was constructed in memory of Monaco’s “Builder Prince”.

The 830 m² suite is bathed in sunlight and creates an atmosphere full of contrasts, where golden tones and vivid colours blend together perfectly. Sculptures, including some made by Prince Rainier III himself, paintings from his personal collection and original photographs add a distinctive personal touch.

The 350 m² terrace spread over two levels provides a breathtaking view of Place du Casino and the Mediterranean. A heated infinity pool completes this extraordinary suite.

In 2024, the Hôtel de Paris was honored by the Michelin Guide, which awarded it “three keys” in its new prestigious hotels ranking. Following the same model as the stars awarded to restaurants, the Michelin Guide now distinguishes exceptional hotel establishments by awarding one key for a “unique stay,” two keys for an “exceptional stay,” and three keys for an “extraordinary stay.”
