Since 2008, 515 children from developing countries have had operations thanks to Monaco Collectif humanitaire.
“When I reached my 50th birthday, the voluntary sector, the healthcare centres of the Principality, private partners and my Government gave me a present that came straight from their hearts: to provide medical treatment for 50 children with heart disease who could not receive the operations they needed in their home countries. That was the start of Monaco Collectif Humanitaire. When we saw how successful and important it was, we decided together to continue this remarkable chain of solidarity, which so well demonstrates my country’s commitment to the most vulnerable of people,” said Prince Albert II, on the fifteenth anniversary of MCH.
