Having committed to reducing its greenhouse gas emissions by 50% by 2030 (compared with 1990) and achieving carbon neutrality by 2050, the Principality is mobilising everyone in the country to help meet this challenge. Changing our energy model requires fundamental adjustments, which can only be made if everyone contributes.
The Mission for Energy Transition, set up in 2016, is part of the Ministry of Public Works, the Environment and Urban Development and its role is to pool resources and coordinate initiatives.
