Founded in 1961 by Prince Rainier III, the Monte-Carlo Television Festival has become a key date on the televisual calendar.
It was as a tribute to his wife, Princess Grace, that Prince Rainier III launched, in the early 1960s, what would go on to become a meeting point for the television industry: the Monte-Carlo Television Festival. Since then, global stars, actors, producers, directors and screenwriters, as well as studio, TV channel and streaming platform executives from all over the world have come together every year at the various events organised by Monaco Mediax. Each edition of the Monegasque festival features series launches, preview screenings, conferences, VIP meetings, signing sessions, and more.
