Every year since 1991, the yachting industry has gathered in the Principality’s iconic Port Hercule. A world leader in the field, the Monaco Yacht Show (MYS) offers a unique overview of the latest trends in yachting.

More than 120 exceptional superyachts built by the world’s leading shipyards are showcased each year at the Monaco Yacht Show. Among the large vessels on display, around forty new models are unveiled for the first time worldwide.

Market decision-makers, superyacht builders, designers, luxury manufacturers, and maritime brokerage agencies… 560 exhibiting companies and partners benefit from this unique platform. The yacht exhibition is complemented by the latest generation of nautical accessories – inflatable structures, electric surfboards, and even private submarines – as well as a selection of luxury cars, helicopters, and private jets.

Sustainability, a hot topic in the superyachting world, is also a focus in Monaco. The Sustainability Hub highlights a range of exhibitors selected in collaboration with the Water Revolution Foundation.

Savannah, from the German builder Feadship, was presented as the first hybrid superyacht with a single engine, featuring three generators powering one megawatt of batteries.

Black Pearl, the 107-metre sailing yacht from Oceanco, uses special shaft generators which produce electricity allowing the propellers to turn while the vessel is operating under full sail.

The Yacht Design & Innovation Hub, meanwhile, offers a glimpse into the cutting-edge technology and avant-garde design that define future trends in luxury yachting, while also providing the opportunity to meet the designers who set the industry’s benchmarks.

Established in 2016, the Sapphire Experience programme offers special clients a bespoke tour of the exhibition and support throughout the event.

With its concierge service, the programme includes private visits on board the exhibited superyachts and an invitation to various evening events over the course of the four-day MYS.

On the eve of the exhibition, members of the Sapphire Experience programme are able to take part in the MYS Opening Gala, to which influential figures in the industry are also invited. During the evening, the prestigious MYS Superyacht Awards Ceremony is held.

In figures:

  • 30,000 visitors
  • 125 superyachts
  • 42 world-first launches
  • 50 metres – average yacht size
  • EUR 27 million – average yacht price
  • 107 metres – length of largest yacht
  • 21 vessels over 60 metres
