Monaco Economic Board: a key player in the Principality’s economic development

Initially known as the Monaco Economic Development Chamber, the Monaco Economic Board (MEB) is responsible for helping to promote Monegasque businesses in the Principality and worldwide, and for making it easier for new investors to get established in the country.

The MEB is a private association operating in the general interest, which is funded through support from the Prince’s Government and member subscriptions. MEB members – comprising companies, professional bodies and government officials – are representative of the full range of economic stakeholders in the Principality.

The second is Monaco Invest, which focuses on seeking out foreign investors to help develop projects in areas that are important to Monaco (the environment, health, security, education, etc.). It supports and tracks the administrative procedures encountered by any new investors in the course of establishing themselves in the Principality.
