Every year, the Monte-Carlo E-Rally brings together the latest non-polluting vehicles on the iconic roads used by its famous cousin, the WRC Monte-Carlo Rally.

Exclusively for electric vehicles or those powered by hydrogen fuel cells, the race counts towards the FIA E-Rally Regularity Cup.

The route comprises several special regularity stages – some of these are brand new while others have played host to some of the most dramatic moments of the WRC Monte-Carlo Rally and Historic Rally.

The event gives car manufacturers and tuners an opportunity to present their latest-generation vehicles and test out their technology under real conditions.

To enable them to do this, the Monte-Carlo E-Rally relies on a special logistics system that ensures that vehicles can be charged.

Electric and hydrogen charging stations are available in the parks as well as along the E-Rally route to supply cars during the competition itself.

Drivers are also encouraged to drive in an eco-friendly way, with priority given to protecting the environment and changing attitudes in the transport sector.

The Automobile Club de Monaco has been working in this direction for more than two decades, and has adapted the event over the course of the years to align with the latest trends in the sector.
