Influencers from around the world gathered in Monaco on Sunday 6 October 2019 for the 2nd Influencers Awards.

The ceremony rewards the influencers with the highest visibility on social media, offering recognition from professionals and the general public for this role that, despite having emerged only recently, is becoming increasingly important in our societies, especially among millennials.

Beauty, green issues, nutrition, entrepreneurship, sport, fashion, magic… The 150 influencers in the Principality, spread across 14 different categories, represented more than a billion views on social media between them, with each being a global leader in their field.

This annual gathering of internet stars was established in Monaco by Belgian entrepreneur Lolita Abraham.

Chaired by Princess Camilla de Bourbon des Deux-Siciles, the jury for the 2nd Influencer Awards presented its prizes in the Salle des Étoiles at the Sporting Monte-Carlo. The event was attended by more than a hundred influencers as well as stars from the worlds of television and film.

Some of the recognisable names among the guests included: EnjoyPhoenix, Caroline Receveur, Just Soul, Iris Mittenaere, TheDollBeauty and Léa Elui, who at just 18 already has more followers on Instagram – 10 million – than any other French woman.

The Influencer of the Year title went to Jonathan Kubben, from Belgium, who also won in the Green category for his project to build a school entirely from recycled plastic in Mexico.

The 3rd Influencer Awards will be held in October 2020.
